Circles of Empathy are not therapy, group therapy, nor psychological treatment nor are facilitators mental health professionals. Individuals engaging in Circles of Empathy do so at their own risk and agree to hold Circles of Empathy, Circling the Wagons, its board and officers exempt from legal liability.
Individuals in Utah looking for personal or group therapy may be able to find appropriate resources through the LGBTQ-Affirmative Therapists Guild of Utah. The GLBT National Help Center also provides peer-counseling for both adults and youth, and referrals to local resources around the country.
